About me
North Pillar Media didn't start with a business plan.
It started with a question.
My wife asked me what I actually wanted out of a career. I told her creativity, freedom, and the ability to help people in a way that felt meaningful. I was self employed for 5 years, and after re-joining the workforce, I missed the feeling of owning my work and taking pride in it.
Taking photos and making videos has always been a hobby of mine, but I never saw it as a career until I realized something: most businesses in the Fox Valley deserved better content than they were getting, and I had the skills to deliver it.
North Pillar Media exists to give businesses the kind of visual content that used to be reserved for companies with big agency budgets, delivered with the care and integrity of someone who wants to see you win.

Hi, I'm Nick!
I was born and raised in Oshkosh, but now call Appleton home alongside my wife and pets.
I have been interested in photography and making videos since I was a young child, and now I want to share my passion with others.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling, and trying different restaurants!

Hi, I'm Bug!
I was born in Baraboo in a pig pen, but now reside in Appleton with my family.
I have a background in barking at squirrels, chewing up cardboard, and I excel at begging for human food.
In my free time I enjoy terrorizing my cat brother, going on car rides, and sleeping in on both weekdays and weekends.
